First of all, fantastic ajax scripts makes this site light and smooth. Second, its very organized blocked layout , but still gives a interesting texture with its variety of color and weight on each individual blog in a macro view.
Last but not least, which I think is the most important element of the site – content. It is about forward thinking, exchange ideas, discussing the present and imaging future.
